** UPDATE Sunday 07:47 **
Hello Parents!

Just wanted to let you know that life is still happy and safe up here at Leoni. :) The air is remarkably clear and campers will be heading to breakfast here in about 30 minutes.

As of 7:15 a.m. this morning, Bucks Bar Rd. remains open. Unless they close it between now and then (unlikely, according to local law enforcement.) Hwy E16 is closed in the Mt Aukum area, please plan accordingly

** UPDATE Saturday 18:40 **
Hello Parents!

First off, we want you to know your campers are safe and having a great week. We are continuing with our regularly scheduled programming.

There is currently a fire in El Dorado county, but it is far enough away that it is NOT a threat to Leoni Meadows Property.
Because of the fire, Bucks Bar Rd. may be closed for a short period of time. In order to get around this dilemma and still be able to pick up / drop off your campers, here are the detour directions:

1. Instead of making the right onto Buck's Bar Rd. at the three-way stop, continue straight on Pleasant Valley Rd. Continue for appx. 5 mi.
2. Make a right turn onto E16 (Mt Aukum). Continue for appx. 3 1/2 mi. This will take you to the 4-way stop in Somerset.
3. At the 4-way stop, turn left onto Grizzly Flats Rd. From this point you can continue as usual to Leoni Meadows.
Call us at 530-626-3610 if you have any questions or need help.

Greetings Parents (and Campers),

Each summer our carefully selected staff plays with, laughs with, lives with and worships with hundreds of campers from all over the country––and even beyond. Building relationships, learning new skills and having fun have been goals of Leoni Meadows since 1978. That’s more than 30 years of Christ-centered ministry!

This summer the adventure begins and ends around knowing Jesus. Life can be unpredictable. Culture changes. Society changes. Schools change. Homes change. But Christ offers a constant in the lives of young people. And we’re going to learn about that this summer at camp.

Our Christ-centered program shows kids that faith in action is fun! A week (or two or three) at Leoni provides campers with the place, the tools and the chance to gain self-confidence (through learning new skills and achieving goals), safely experience a little independence (by being away from home) and build social skills (while making friends with their cabin mates). And all of this while having a blast!

Can’t wait to see you and your kids this summer.
