  • Our meeting spaces vary from cozy (seating 35) to spacious (seating 450) and from fully equipped indoor auditoriums to campfire bowls under the stars. You can choose the environment that will best help you communicate your message.

  • As we all know, food can make or break any event. Our cooks serve yummy, vegetarian meals that inspire our guests to write thank you letters and request recipes–which we do share. So most groups are thrilled to let us do the cooking. The cafeteria provides delicious lacto-ovo vegetarian buffet-style meals.

Special
Notes

  • All of Leoni Meadows, both indoors and outside, is smoke-free. This is both because we are committed to healthy living and because our 1,000 (very flammable) acres are surrounded by thousands more (very flammable) acres of the El Dorado National Forest. Our commitment to fire prevention not only influences our no-smoking policy but also dictates a number of safety measures relating to all campfires. For this reason, we need you to get specific permission for each and every campfire you may choose to have.

  • As a Seventh-day Adventist organization, we believe that God created us and wants to dwell within us, if we each allow Him. Thus we aim to avoid those substances that can injure our physical health or impair our reasoning and judgment. As part of this we have chosen to be an alcohol free and drug free place, where we can each best hear the voice of God.

  • We ask that you not bring pets with you to Leoni Meadows. Pets indoors can cause allergy issues for other guests during and after your stay. Pets outdoors can disturb the local wildlife, or become a meal for other local wildlife. In addition, we can’t predict, and certainly can’t be responsible for, how each pet will react to other guests. Your precious friend at home will truly be more comfortable at home.

  • Seventh-day Adventists believe that God has not changed His mind on any of the ten commandments. His fourth commandment, to set aside the seventh day of the week for rest and worship, is a blessing as well as a commandment. Because we choose to honor Saturday as our Sabbath, there are certain sports and recreational activities that we do not offer from sundown on Friday evening through sundown on Saturday evening. The Recreation & Activities descriptions note when this is the case. We hope you’ll take this opportunity to rest and seek to know God better. You’ll find no better place to do it.

  • Because our 1,000 (very flammable) acres are surrounded by thousands more (very flammable) acres of the El Dorado National Forest we have a number of safety measures relating to all fires and possible sources of spark. For this reason, we need you to get specific permission for each and every campfire you may choose to have. Thank you for your help with this.
