About
Leoni Meadows
Leoni Meadows has been providing exciting, safe, Christian camping experiences since 1978. We are located on 1,000 acres surrounded by the El Dorado National Forest.
OWNERSHIP
Leoni Meadows Camp is owned and operated by the Northern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Camp fees are used only for daily operational expenses with capital improvement projects being funded by generous supporters and the Northern California Conference.
Caldor Fire
Every camper and staff knows that Leoni Meadows takes fire safety and preparedness very seriously. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts and years of preparing, The Caldor Fire was just too large and uncontrollable. It blew through camp and burned a significant portion of our surrounding forest.
However, by God’s grace and the work done in advance of the fire, significant portions of the camp remained intact. Many of the main buildings still stand, including the Leoni Lodge, Meadowview Inn, and many cabins.
We still have a ways to go as we rebuild and reimagine what is possible. Despite this new set of challenges, we remain ever committed to providing fun, exciting, and Jesus-filled experiences.
We appreciate everyone that has helped us both physically and financially as we journey through the rebuilding process.
